Rev. Judy W. Rudd is a provisional elder in the Arkansas Annual Conference and was appointed to First United Methodist Church of West Memphis as the Associate Pastor in July 2017. She previously served at Bland Chapel UMC and First UMC of Bella Vista. A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Rev. Rudd practiced law for 23 years before pursuing her call to ministry and obtaining her Masters of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2014.
Pastor Judy serves as the Associate Pastor of Communications, Outreach and Pastoral Leadership. She is passionate about spiritual formation in the local church which makes disciples who make disciples for the transformation of lives, communities and the world. She believes this is best accomplished by loving God and loving our neighbors through enthusiastic worship, passionate prayer, nurturing relationships and serving in ministry with one another as we live and love like Jesus.
Love of the outdoors runs deep in Pastor Judy’s blood. She enjoys hiking, camping, traveling and gardening among other outdoor activities. Often, you will also find Pastor Judy spending time with family and friends as well as going to movies, the theater and new restaurants.
